Kimberly Cowan is an artist and designer whose creative journey began in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned her BFA in Fashion Design from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2009. With a deep passion for visual storytelling and craftsmanship, Kimberly’s career has taken her across the globe—each chapter expanding her skills, vision, and voice as a multifaceted designer.

Her early roles took her from New York to Paris, where she worked closely with renowned designers and creative directors. At VMT–Los Angeles, she served as both showroom assistant and assistant jewelry designer to Veronica Toub, traveling to Paris for market and collaborating with interior designers and fellow jewelry artists. Kimberly later joined Juicy Couture as assistant jewelry designer, further refining her ability to merge trend with timeless design.

Driven by curiosity and a hands-on approach, Kimberly ventured to India to work alongside Logan Hollowell in design development, immersing herself in the artistry of global production. She has since held roles as lead designer, production manager, technical designer, and e-commerce manager—continuing to freelance as a jewelry designer and illustrator throughout.

Today, jewelry remains the heart of her artistic practice. As the founder of Mae+Lang Jewels, Kimberly creates thoughtful, soulful pieces while also supporting other brands in design, development, and production. Her work reflects a deep understanding of form, material, and story—bridging art and commerce with every creation.

Art, design, and endless possibility.
